Academic Background
My research thesis, "Analysis of RNA Protein Interactions using Deep Learning," investigates how RNA sequence encodes RNA-binding protein (RBP) interactions. I benchmarked pretrained RNA language models and developed sequence-based deep learning models for binary binding prediction, quantitative binding profile prediction, and transcript localization. During my Master's, I focused on advanced AI coursework and research in deep learning, optimization, and sequence modeling. I built end-to-end experimental pipelines, evaluated multiple pretrained RNA models, and translated research ideas into reproducible, scalable implementations.
